Abstract

2 An object of the present invention is to improve the estimation accuracy of amino acid sequences of peptides using a de novo sequence. MS 2 analysis and MS 3 analysis are performed on a peptide mixture, and mass spectra are acquired respectively (S1, S2). Then, a peak list (S3) that collects peaks that appear in both mass spectra, a spectrum created by shifting the MS 3 mass spectrum to the high mass number side by the mass number difference of the precursor of MS 2 / MS 3 analysis, and MS A peak list (S5 to S8) in which a total of six types of peaks are collected (S4 to S8), which collect peaks commonly appearing in the two mass spectra, etc. The peaks are classified into terminal-specific peak lists (S9). The two peak lists are provided to de novo sequence analysis software to execute amino acid sequence estimation. When the reliability of the estimation result is low, the process returns to S2, selects another precursor, performs MS 3 analysis, and repeats S3 to S10. [Selection] Figure 2

Why it is here

Shimadzu: amino acid sequence estimation from peaks shared between MSn and MSn+1 spectra, collected per terminus.
